Roxanne Crew comes from a family of musicians, performers, and artists. From an early age she put on homemade performances with her sister and cousins, and began her formal dance training at age six with ballet and tap. After going on to train in modern, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop, she followed her love for dance to Jacksonville University. In 2012, she received her BFA in Dance with an Education minor, as well as the Dean’s Award for Student of the Year in Dance. She has danced on Chicago rooftops with Wake Up! Waltz, entertained as a high-kick dancer at Universal Studios Florida, and performed in Nashville with the Chinese Arts Alliance. In addition to dancing with Epiphany, she channels her passion into teaching dance for Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Rhythm and Spirit program, Dance in Bloom, and Metro Parks Dance. She finds herself in movement; dance fills up a part of her that nothing else can.
